Love this family owned restaurant and went to the newer location for breakfast and it didn’t disappoint. The flavor is tremendous and the service was top notch. Grabbed a few pints of pasole and adovada to go for the drive back to Texas.

My daughter and I went to Monroe’s for a girl getaway. Our server was absolutely wonderful, we had several people stop in and check on us, we ate out on the patio with the fountain. It was so wonderful. We ordered the green chili chicken enchiladas, hers flat and mine rolled. We also got the flan for dessert. The soapillas were melt in your mouth delicious.

Always love Monroe’s. Food is great, and our server was wonderful, very helpful. Mom and I really enjoyed our meal. My Chile rellenos were way yummy. And mum loved her fajitas. I’ll be back next time I’m in ABQ!

The food was excellent. It was really busy. We ordered ahead and there was still a wait when we got there. But the food was hot and fresh.

Great food, I had Super Combination Platter with Enchilada, Taco, and Tamale topped with Fried Egg. My husband had Chimichangas. They are very tasty and their sopaipillas are really good!!!!! Highly recommend.

Lived in Albuquerque all my life and never got around to eating here and I have been missing out! Not only is the food delicious but the service is fantastic!! Whoever is managing this place is doing an amazing job because the staff have such upbeat positive attitudes. Finally a great dining experience since we have been back in NM!

This place is nice, inviting. Great place to meet up.
If hot New Mexican cuisine is not for you, this is your place. The food is very mild and nothing is spicy or hot. The salsa with the chips n salsa was tomato sauce, with pico. The food is portioned fit and lite, yet delicious. I do recommend this restaurant to those who cannot eat chili and still want new Mexican cuisine.
